How many people in each room?
Nine of our rooms have a max occupancy of two people. Our suites have pull out sofas (queen sleeper in 402 and full size sleeper in 401). We allow a maximum of 4 people in 402 and 3 people in 401.
Really, only 2 people to a room?
Seven of our rooms are small – big enough for a king be402d, night stands, a small chair, desk, mini fridge. You will not be happy if you try to put more than two people in the room. We wouldn’t want you to do something silly like leave us a bad review because the room was small and you, your spouse and teenage child were squeezed for space.
Rooms 201 and 301 are larger rooms but still just a king bed, two chairs, a desk, a chest for the mini fridge and TV, two night stands but you also have room to throw out a yoga mat and get your ommmmm on. We do not have cots or rollaway beds.
Surely I can squeeze my 4 children, my spouse and me into your largest suite?
Please don’t. Not only will you be uncomfortable, but you will create an inconvenience (and potential safety hazard) for our other guests. The room comes with towels for 4 people.
Do you have microwaves and other appliances in the rooms?
Each room has a mini-fridge, a keurig coffee maker, a TV, a DVD player, iron/ironing board and a blow dryer. The largest suite, 402, does have a microwave. No other appliances are in the room. There is a first floor restaurant that is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Do I need to bring my own beach towels?
No, we provide beach/pool towels in your room. They are light blue and are on the rack in your restroom. Please bring your towels back to the Inn with you from the beach or pool and put them in the bin located just across from the entry door. We will provide you with new beach/pool towels every day. Extra towels are also in the basket next to the elevator on the 1st floor.
What is included in my stay?
Each room comes with one beach set up (2 chairs and 1 umbrella). They will be set up automatically each day of your stay from March 1 through October (not guaranteed on arrival and departure days). We have 11 rooms which means we only have 11 sets – so there is overlap on arrival and departure days. Feel free to sit in any open chairs – it is first come, first serve. You also can enjoy happy hour in the first floor restaurant from 4 – 5pm each day – 1/2 priced wines by the glass and beer – just show your key. A complimentary, continental breakfast (fruit, toast, coffee) is available for you in the first floor restaurant, The Summer Kitchen Cafe, OR you can enjoy 20% off the regular breakfast menu. You also have complimentary access to the fitness center and tennis center and access to 4 community pools within Rosemary Beach.
What are the possibilities that could result in extra charges during my stay?
Mainly damage to the room. If you break it, we will ask you to pay for it. If you have ignored our rules as to room occupancy, we will charge for extra towels and extra cleaning and room amenities. If the room is left excessively dirty, we will charge an extra cleaning fee (we take lots of pictures so there will be no doubt as to what excessive is 🙂 ) If our linens are ruined (usually involves self tanner, red wine and/or lots of makeup) you will be required to contribute to their replacement. If our pillows are missing, you will be charged – yes this has happened (mainly because our pillows are amazing!). But, ask us, and we will be happy to tell your where we buy our pillows and linens.
Can I get a late checkout?
If there is someone checking into your room on the same day you are checking out, then unfortunately we will not be able to give you a late check out. If no one is checking in behind you, we are happy to extend your checkout by 1 hour. If you need more time than that, we can extend to 2pm for $100 charge. If you need later than that, you will have to reserve another night.
Can I arrange for a late checkout in advance?
Given that we have only 11 rooms to rent (and a big mortgage and 1 child left to put through college), we are unable to arrange late checkouts in advance of your stay.
Do you have an elevator?
Yes, we do! BUT, it only goes to the 3rd floor. If you are staying in room 403, 401 or 402, you will have to go up one flight of stairs to get to your room. Something to think about while packing!
Where do I park my car?
There are two parking spaces directly in front of the front door (on W. Water Street). Other than that, there is on street parking around the Inn and around the town. If the spaces in front of the Inn are taken and you have luggage to unload, it is okay to put your flashers on, unload your bags, take them to your room and then move your car. This should be no more than 5 minutes.
Do you have a bell hop who will deal with my bags?
No, sorry. If you need assistance, the check-in desk can usually send someone to help you. They are really nice people, so just ask. If the guys who work in the restaurant are not crazy busy taking care of customers, they may also be able to help you.
Do you allow smoking?
Absolutely not. No smoking in the rooms, no smoking in the hallways, no smoking in the lobby area, no smoking in the restaurant or restrooms. If you choose to break this rule, in all seriousness, there are big financial consequences. A minimum of a $500 charge will be assessed. This is to cover the cost of renting a machine that we will have to use to get rid of the smell. In addition, we will have to block the room out for a minimum of two days to clean carpets, drapes, etc. If we have to decline any reservations during that time , then you will also be assessed the room charges for the lost revenue. Please, please do not smoke in our building period.
Do you allow pets?
No pets of any size. We love our pets too, but the Inn is unable to accomodate pets. Violations of this policy will result in a minimum of a $500 charge and you will be evicted with no refund. We are happy to provide you with contact info for reputable kennels.
Who do I call if I have a maintenance issue during my stay?

Is the Inn suitable for children?
We do allow well behaved children in the suites. And we completely acknowledge your ability as a parent to use your common sense. As long as other guests do not have any complaints about noise, you are good to go.
Check in/Check out time?
Check in is at 4 pm and check out is 10 am. We make every effort to get you in early and are successful about 90% of the time. Please do not try to put your luggage in the room or in the hallways before housekeeping has finished getting it ready for you. This is for liability reasons as well as keeping our housekeeping process as efficient as possible. We are committed to getting rooms super clean between guests.
